Part Time Studio Assistant
We could use another set of hands at Off Set Studios. We’re looking for someone for around 15–20 hours a week, with some flexibility in scheduling. Hourly pay will depend on experience.
You’ll work alongside our studio manager, helping get things ready for shoots and keeping the studio running. There’s a mix of production, editing and practical work around the space. Some days you’ll be setting up cameras and lights. Other days you might be working on a set, organizing footage or getting the studio back in shape after a shoot.
Things you could help with:
Setting up cameras, hanging lights, running cables and sorting out power.
Building and making changes to sets.
Video editing and basic colour correction in DaVinci Resolve.
Organizing, transferring and backing up footage locally and in the cloud.
Keeping the studio clean, organized and in good working order.
You don’t need to know everything on that list. A solid foundation in video production, some practical experience and a willingness to learn will go a long way. Our studio manager will be there to give direction, answer questions and help you get comfortable.
We’re a small team, so being able to hang matters too. We want someone who’s good to have around, takes care of the gear and pitches in when there’s work to do.
